Very friendly bartender and customers. We spoke using google translate due to our limited Japanese/English skills. Sayuri has run the bar for 12 years and knows her sake. She is a cat lover, which shows in the decor and the one of a kind cat sake cups. We had our first sparkling sake experience here, which was delicious! No cover charge, cash only. We spent around 4500 yen on 4 drinks. Bar has limited space and can be hard to find. It was on the empty side when we dropped by at 8:55pm. This is a bar where people want to talk to you, so folks looking for a solo bar moment may want to find a different spot.

This is an amazing bar run by an extremely friendly lady. She knows limited English but we still conversed throughout our 2 hour stay there. The bar only serves sake but she recommends sake based on our preferences and likes / dislikes. We did not need to know anything about sake to have a great time drinking here! Although she does not have a food menu, she does have some small bites available and they were amazing! Note that this is a small place with limited seating (approximately 8 seats) but it is not a crowded bar so finding seats should not be too challenging

What a lovely bar with such a genial host. She asked what flavours we liked before pouring some lovely sake for us. She did offer food but we had eaten. Definitely encouraged conversation in the bar.
