Tamba-Sasayama, Hyogo, Japan｜岩茶房丹波ことり

During the heavy rains in western Japan, the expressway was closed on my way back from the hotel, so I found this restaurant through a Google search.The owner kindly told me about the road conditions and recommended that I stay one more night, so I ended up staying there. ❣️ Since then, I have stopped by every time I go to Sasayama. The other day, I was worried because the whole city had become like a pedestrian paradise, but I was relieved to find that the atmosphere was calm, like it was in another world. My first Chinese porridge lunch was really delicious🥰Chinese tea, sweets, pork buns (I like vegetable buns) I feel soothed just by being surrounded by really delicious and kind homemade food and interacting with everyone💕

The main attraction here is the landlady, That's how I felt. The atmosphere of the shop, which is located in a samurai residence in a castle town, is great. The handmade meat buns were surprisingly delicious.

It seems that the day I visited was the day when the kiln was put out, and the store was crowded. This time, I had jasmine tea, but there are many rare teas, and it's fun to read the explanations. If there are no events, I think that time flows leisurely. The sweets you get at the shop are also sold, so you can buy what you like.
