Kyoto, Japan｜Zonshinkan Cafeteria

This cafeteria is in the ground floor of Zonshinkan Hall (a building with a clock tower). This place is also open to public; therefore, anyone who wants to experience what Japanese students usually eat for lunch and dinner can enjoy their typical Japanese meals here. As is often the case with school cafeterias, everything is less expensive! Please note that you should avoid during lunch rush (12:00 - 1:00 pm).

This is my first visit in a quarter of a century as an OB. I ordered too much, but as a member of society, it was a reasonable price and delicious. I especially like the clam chowder.

Zonshinkan underground dining room, abbreviated "Zonchi". There was no kimchi rice bowl, so I ate sauce katsu rice bowl. There was no problem even for outsiders.
