Two years ago we visited the Ginkaku-ji temple and strolled around the town and discovered this warm family restaurant. Giving a home cooked food feeling, food was delicious and impressive, very reasonable with happy memories.

Love it! Local Japanese food with English menu.

Been going here for more than 20 years. Great value, friendly, good quality. Never been disappointed. The reviewer on here who mentions 'stuffed animals and a creepy atmosphere' has got the wrong place - it isn't Daigin Shokudo.
