Visited on a Saturday in late October. It was a day when I realized that Tamba Sasayama would be extremely crowded after the black soybean and edamame season was released in autumn, but I was able to enter the store after waiting about 30 minutes. The mackerel sushi was sold out, but I was surprised at how delicious the chirashi sushi I ordered. The supporting ingredients, kanpyo and shiitake, are perfectly cooked! The rice is firm, sweet, and delicious. The sashimi had thick, whole scallops, and the other ingredients were big, fresh, and delicious. I would have been even happier if they had included a little more rice. A restaurant with delicious food is the best.

At first glance. I found this place when I was wandering around trying to decide where to eat as all the restaurants were crowded. The door to the shop was closed, so I couldn't see inside, and what looked like a realistic-looking stuffed raccoon dog was standing in the way. I mustered up the courage to enter the store, and it turned out to be a great success. A friendly lady will welcome you. The menu didn't have any pictures, just text, so I was wondering what kind of food I'd get, and the atmosphere made me a little nervous until I got what I ordered. I ordered the mackerel sushi set, and it was a very thick, fluffy, and flavorful bar sushi. The red soup was also very delicious. It was so voluminous that I was worried for a moment that I wouldn't be able to finish it, but I was able to eat it all. (*´ω`*) This is a restaurant I would like to visit again when I visit Sasayama.

Grilled mackerel sushi is the best. It is a seaweed-wrapped type, and the filling is not only thick grilled mackerel, The balance of donko, green perilla, and ginger is exquisite, and it's a flavor you can only find here. You can also take it home, and you may have to wait for a while, but the rolls will be rolled right in front of you after you order, so you can buy freshly made rolls. Anyway, the boiled donko inside is delicious! If you like shiitake mushrooms, you should try this mackerel sushi at least once.
