More Comments at Google MapThis was absolutely delicious! Tiny place with wonderful service and the most delicious concept. You start with a small appetizer and proceed to the main course which is thinly sliced beef with cabbage, bean sprouts and green onions stewed in a square pan set on a burner in the table. After this cooks and you’ve enjoyed it, the severs bring rice cake and udon noodles to cook in the broth. They come out delicious absorbing the flavors of everything that was cooked In it. Finally, they make a “risotto” from the leftover broth - rice, seaweed and an egg are cooked in it until the rice absorbs all the wonderful flavors. Very special and different. It’s across from the Myodenji Temple in case you have a hard time finding.
This is excellent 🥘 Isshin-nabe 2200 yen/person ☺️ It's not sukiyaki, but the sweet and spicy sauce is outstanding. It looks like it will become a classic in Kyoto 🙃 Obanzai is good, but meat is good too.
Very tasty food, can only recommend. Very friendly and helpful and the food was just delicious 😀
