If you're looking for Kobe in Kyoto, look no further. Phenomenal food, service, and atmosphere. We didn't have a reservation, but we went there right when they opened and they were luckily able to accommodate us. This was the best way to experience real Kobe!!

Food was ok. Service was really good. Opt for the Kobe set for 11 pax for my family which I think was ok for the experience. Slightly on the higher price side at 21,000 yen per person.

Tried Kobe beef for the first time and it is definitely worth it! We paid 21,000 Yen for the 150g Kobe set menu and shared that between 2 people. Probably could have eaten one steak each it was so good but budget... We called and booked on the same day and got an early table for dinner (6:00pm). Cool experience to have a private teppanyaki chef. The only thing is it was all over very quickly - would have liked more time and space between arrival, drinks, entree etc.
