Shimamoto, Osaka, Japan｜Tonkatsu Kinoshita

I wish this place was down the street from my home in San Diego. Friendly service (despite a pretty big language barrier), amazingly well done tonkatsu and a variety of delicious sauces. All pretty cheap too.

Tonkatsukinoshita is located next to Gourmet City on National Route 171, about a 5-minute walk from Minase Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line. A shop where you can drink Sapporo beer. Fried foods are homemade. Crispy and fluffy inside. It was very delicious.

I used to pass by the store all the time, but I didn't have a chance, so I finally visited. The audience seats are a counter and two tables. It can't be said to be wide, but the infection control was solid. This time I ordered ginger grill and double cutlet. It was very lightly fried and very tasty. You can choose 3 types of sauce for the cutlet. There was also rock salt and it was substantial.
