I can say with confidence that this is one of the best tempura restaurants I’ve ever been to. Even though I’ve only tried their lunch, the care they put into making each tempura (that they fry right in front of you) comes through when you try it. The restaurant has two round counters where you sit facing the chef who makes the tempura one by one. When each tempura is ready he serves you one at the time and tells you how to have it (with lemon, salt, tsuyu and etc.). The menu and service is only in Japanese so go with a Japanese speaker if you don’t already speak it. If you really want to try authentic tempura in Japan, this is the kind of restaurant you want to eat at.
