Enjoyed sliced carp sashimi and soft shell turtle dishes including blood shot, liver ovary etc. Not so many restaurants can serve these dishes because raw carp and soft shell turtles are rare and raw carp can be eaten by farming. I’m so happy to have opportunity to eat them. The restaurant is little far from TAKATSUKI station and it takes around 20 min by bus. Expensive but staff are so polite and kind, and riverside scenery is so beautiful and calm. Highly recommend.

A restaurant where you can enjoy a full course of rare carp dishes. It's a family run business and everyone is very kind. You will receive good service. It's a 7-8 minute walk down a straight road from the Hara Ohashi bus stop, but there are some parts that are mostly occupied by cars, so it might be dangerous for children. When you make a reservation, we recommend that you ask about transportation to either Haraohashi or Kamiguchi bus stops. I think reservations are absolutely necessary. (Telephone reservation) It seems that many people have never eaten carp dishes, but in fact, they may not have any unique taste compared to sea fish. Even people who don't like sea fish may find it delicious. In addition to carp roasted and boiled, you can also enjoy salt-grilled sweetfish or dried overnight. The course was 4400 yen (tax included). It's very cheap considering the contents. It's a private room with a mountain stream flowing outside the window.

First carp dish! There is no smell at all, the texture is firm and it is surprisingly delicious ◎ Sashimi, washing, boiled, miso soup We had a lunch full of carp! I'm still an amateur with carp, so it was easier to eat after washing. The scales look surprisingly good with sake♪
