So good! Stumbled upon this place for dinner and were happy with traditional Kyoto cuisine- we got agadashi tofu and tempura among other items. You know it’s good when there is a handwritten menu only in Japanese- the staff were incredibly kind and patient as they helped us pick out what to order. The vibes in restaurant were casual but classy. Great experience!!

Both lunch and dinner are recommended. Traditional Kyoto food restaurant at reasonable price. Anago(conger eel) is their recommended food. Lunch : Today's Obanzai-Zen 1000yen or 1600yen / Anago-Don(conger eel on the rice) 1400yen / Zyusei-Zen 2400yen Dinner : Obanzai-Zen 1728yen /Arago-Don 2160yen / Zyusei-Zen 4100yen / 5kinds of Appetizer 1620yen
