Absolutely incredible experience. The meal and hospitality cannot be matched by any other busy highly rated restaurant. The food is so fresh, and so simple but so intense in flavour. We ordered the spring set menu for 2. It filled us up quite well and had plenty of variety. To top off this experience, the restaurant was run by 2 experienced chefs that were grandma and grandpa, they treated you like family and you don't leave the place without a smile. This is true Japanese hospitality that you won't get from the busy areas of Kyoto. Highly recommend this place to anyone!!!

The owner has been with us for over 50 years, and he was the former head chef of Okochi Sanso in Arashiyama, Kyoto, so his skill is certain. It's been a long time since I've had this dish, but I can't say it's still delicious. A 2-minute walk from Mabori Station on the JR Sagano Line. It's a former colleague's shop that I want to go to again even if it takes about 2 hours from Iga. It is worth going once. It was so delicious that I forgot to take a picture of the food😭

Only omakase course (3 types) The recommended menu is written on paper ☺️Is it depending on the story at that time? A lot of dishes that you can see that they are made very carefully. Everything is delicious and I would like to come again. The street was full of customers. You may want to make a reservation. I should have taken a picture of each item 😢
