Kyoto, Japan｜Sobashubo Ichii

Very beautiful place for eating lunch. We got a table upstairs. We sat in the traditional tatami and served us water with sesame flavor. We took the soba with the tempura. It is by far the best tempura I have had. Highly recommended. The soba dip in the sauce is the tradicional way of eating it. Such an authentic experience! I have rated 4 stars in service because the food took around 40 min to arrive to the table. We had to queue a bit, but that was no problem. It’s totally worth it.

Delicious soba noodles in a quiet and traditional atmosphere. I recommend getting the duck meat and Japanese leak in hot soup (and the creme brulee if you feel like something sweet). There is seating upstairs for you to eat on tatami mats. I highly recommend going here for lunch.

Maybe my favourite meal I've ever had. The vibe was incredible, and the staff were soooo super kind and friendly. And above all else, the food was freshly made to order and absolutely delicious. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone staying in Kyoto.
