Kyoto, Japan｜Steak Don Ya

A curious place. The food is EXCELLENT, but there are many rules you need to follow. Some of them very much understandable (such as no smartphone while eating) , no small children, no groups with more than 1 car, no strong perfume … and the list goes on. All good rules in principle but the place is full of all the rules written everywhere (mainly in Japanese) so takes away a bit the enjoyment of the excellent food as you feel a bit controlled. Was a phenomenal restaurant to eat at, food was absolute perfection and best steak and hamburg I’ve had! Props to the chef for perfecting the recipe! Would recommend to anyone passing through from the mountain destinations! Arigato!!

Travelling Japan and the best food I’ve had yet. Got the steak & hamburger, chicken & pork Katsu. Amazing!
