Absolutely the best French bread and bakery you'll find in the Kansai area! The Ashiya 本店 (flagship) shop was the first place in Japan to bake and sell real French bread! Nice selection of baked goods and small French sandwiches that, although pricey, are well worth it!

When shopping for quality bread, cookies, and a variety of other taste treats, this place is at the top of the list.

I had a pretty preconceived notion that French bread wouldn't be good even if it was made in Japan. It's delicious here. It doesn't have any unpleasant taste or mixture like commonly sold bread. It is within walking distance from Ashiya Station. The entrance is wide and wide, with a cash register on the left and beautifully fragrant breads lined up. I don't remember the name of the bread at all, but it's on the main island in the center right after entering the entrance. We chose the hearty lemon cinnamon bun and the caramel roll bread. Lemon bread is not only voluminous, but also elastic and fragrant. The key to making bread is how to utilize yeast, which is a living thing, to multiply and make it. They are also good at adjusting temperature and nutrients. My daughter and her husband bought croissants, In Japan, there are many croissants made from frozen dough, but The one at Bigo's store was different. delicious. Boulangerie is truly delicious, made from original dough. I apologize for bothering you again. Thank you.
