Himeji, Hyogo, Japan｜Menme

Loved the udon here! I got the memme which came with raw egg, mixing it in created a silky smooth texture. The noodles were handmade, they were so bouncy and chewy!

We came here by accident and not regret it. If you visit Himeji Castle you will definitily came by. If you come to lunchtime you'll probably have to wait outside. But not too long. The udon noodles are all made by hand. We really enjoyed our udon noodles, the price is really appropriate and you will get your food really fast. The noodles are bouncy and a little chewy (but in a good way!) and the broth is really light and flavorful in the same time. We recommend the Kitsune Udon and the Niku Udon ! If you visit Himeji i really reccomend to stop here and grab some udon!
