More Comments at Google MapThis kind of restaurant might be called "Kyoto Chinese food". After coming to the store for the first time because I was curious about the handwritten menu posted outside, I decided to go here for Chinese food. It is run by a famous duo of a taciturn owner and a cheerful mother who is in charge of customer service. Due to measures to prevent the spread of the virus, there were no tatami mat seats during the closure, and the seats were changed to table seats, so I went to see the preview! Lunch time is the best value for money. From 500 yen if it's a daily change. Even if you go out for dinner, if you combine a hearty single item and a small plate, you will definitely be full for a little over 1000 yen per person! It's safe to assume that small plates are the normal size. Another good thing about Chinese restaurants is that if you can't eat it all, you can take it home (packing fee required). The handwritten menu, which is full of season and taste, is posted inside the store, and it is our custom to imagine the next order while looking at it. It's very Kyoto-like to love a store where you can see the creator's face for a long time instead of a chain store, and Tenpo is one of those stores. <Parking information> There is a space to park motorcycles and bicycles next to the shop. Unfortunately the car is sharp.
An old Chinese restaurant 3 minutes on foot from Tominoso station ☺️ It is run by a quiet husband and a lovely couple. The inside of the store is very beautiful, with 5 counter seats and 3 tables for 4 people. This time, a set meal of assorted shrimp chilli ❗️ Fried shrimp, fried small shrimp, fried dumplings, spring rolls, fried chicken, large salad, rice and soup Right 🙆♂️
It is located just a short walk from Tominosho Station. It's run by a husband and wife team, and only the husband and wife make the food, so it takes a while to serve the food. We arrived right after they opened so we didn't have to wait, but it was very crowded that day. Seven customers came in an hour. The food was cheap and plentiful. I would like to go eat there again. There are 3 table seats. 8 people can sit at the counter. It was nice that they served me barley tea when I finished my meal. All seats non-smoking🚭 It's a small shop, but I highly recommend it!
