More Comments at Google MapGreat lunch!!! I was debating whether to take the Course A lunch, which includes the salad bar, as it was double the price, but glad I did! The salad bar is delicious!!! And of great quality. Some products are actually locally produced in Kyoto. Mind you, it's pretty oily, but tastes amazing! The Jamon Serrano was actually pretty decent for it being included in the price and us being in Japan. I had 4 options to choose from for the main dish, including chicken, pork and shrimps. When it came, I was already a bit full from the two salad servings but had no problem eating the main dish However, the highlight was the wheat bread! The best I've had in 5 years in Japan! Just perfection! Totally recommend this place.
Great little place serving very authentic Spanish food. I took my girlfriend there for her birthday, and they even arranged a little birthday 'cake' and candle for her. Each dish was brought at the right time, and each dish was delicious and unique. During our dinner, there was an older guy and his lady friend (probably had a few too many drinks) who was getting louder and louder (and it's a very small restaurant), but this is not the fault of the restaurant, though I suppose they could ask him to be quieter while other people are trying to enjoy their meals. Overall, I would totally recommend this place. The service is unobtrusive, and the staff seems laid back and friendly. The food is also excellent, and it's a nice change from the Italian food found everywhere in Japan. I'll go back!
For lunch on Saturdays and Sundays, there is only a salad buffet, and you can choose from 4 main dishes (seasonal ajillo: currently whitebait, fresh fish: currently yellowtail, etc.). Rare leafy vegetables, pumpkin, corn, Manganji, pickles, and more are all fresh and delicious. The compatibility with white wine is also perfect. The only drawback is that the seats for two are narrow. Larger counter.
