Izumi, Osaka, Japan｜Uruma Café

Like a trip home. Great Okinawa dishes served in a cozy local atmosphere by helpful friendly staff. We tried the classic soba set which was excellent. Okinawa snacks for take out too. We'll be back soon.

An Okinawan restaurant that opened near LaLaport Izumi at the end of 2022. This time, I visited during the morning business hours when they were doing it on a trial basis. You can get a morning set for 320 to 480 yen plus a drink. I ordered Okinawa's 35 coffee and Kunchama bacon sandwich as a set. It was my first time eating this bacon, and it was so soft and delicious. However, this set is insanely gorgeous. The salad comes with 3 types of fruit and even yogurt, and the number of items is so large that you might be concerned about the cost. Everything was fresh and delicious, and the portions were so satisfying that I could have skipped lunch. This store is a renovated former Lawson, so the store and parking lot are quite spacious (I'd like to host a banquet someday). Also, the restroom has a diaper changing table, so it's safe even if you have small children with you (the owner apparently has small children as well). The outside terrace seats seem to be popular among customers with dogs.

A cafe near LaLaport Izumi and Costco. There is a large enough parking lot in front of the store, and there seems to be terrace seats visible from the parking lot, and I saw some customers sitting on the terrace seats. The interior of the store was stylish and had a good atmosphere, and the staff's cheerful customer service made me feel very comfortable. The lunch menu had a wide variety of set menus.
