More Comments at Google MapBest udon ever! On my way back from visiting the sayamaike museum, I decided to give this udon restaurant a try after seeing so many good reviews. It didn't disappoint! I went there just after they opened the shop so got a seat straightaway. The shop is small but very clean and have traditional look outside and inside. I ordered the cold udon they only provide during May to September, the chef recommended yam to go with it. I also ordered some prawn and vegetable tempura. Both the chef and his wife don't speak much English but they were super friendly and tried making conversations which made the dinner even more enjoyable! The udon was home made I believe and it was amazing, the soup stock, raw egg yolk, white seasame seeds, wasabi, spring onions and yam went perfectly together, such a perfect dish for summer. After mixing everything together, the soup became sticky thanks to the yam and cling to the udon noodles for you to taste it. Definitely a must try in hot summer day. The prawn tempura was crispy on the outside and tender and fresh on the inside, egg plant was so juicy once you bit into it. The chef said they grew their own tomatoes so please make sure to try anything with tomato in it including the tomato chuhai. Such a pleasant dinner and wonderful owners, definitely will come back again!

It's still hot, so Today I ordered small zaru udon♪ Today's tempura is eggplant and okra, so try those too♪ The udon that came out was Beautiful noodles that are slightly translucent and sparkly. The condiments are wasabi, sesame, and green onion. Arranged in bite-sized pieces, It's easy to pick up with chopsticks. The udon was smooth and delicious ✨ Tempura too A fairly thick and well-grown eggplant, A large okra that doesn't get limp even when fried. It came out crispy and piping hot ♡ The whiteboard menu As for the cooked rice that the person behind me ordered, The soup stock is delicious! And the warm udon noodles that the waiter said, There are still too many things I want to eat 🥰 The staff was really warm and I had a great time. It's been a long time since I've given a perfect score (^^)
