Tondabayashi, Osaka, Japan｜oasi 富田林

An Italian restaurant in an old private house in Tondabayashi. I got it in the pairing course. We had a wonderful time with great food, wine, atmosphere and service. The area around the shop is a tourist spot that has been selected as one of the 100 best roads in Japan, and the townscape is so historical that it looks like a set for a historical drama. Also, it is a place you want to visit for anniversaries.

My work colleagues took me and I must say it was exceptional, for lunch they only have a set menu and only serve local products. This is their cooking philosophy, using local products. The chef studied in Romagna and came to greet me at the end of the meals. They also have Italian beer and lots of selected wines.

We had a great lunch with great food and service!
