Daito, Osaka, Japan｜Mitsugawa Steak House

I always eat here when I visit Osaka. My favorite place in Japan!! Thanks Mitsukawa Steakhouse.

This is a popular Western food restaurant located in Suminodou, Daito City, Osaka Prefecture, which used to be a butcher shop. As a former butcher shop, they seem to put a lot of effort into beef, and the menu is extensive. Apparently there is also a bar on the second floor. The store is located at the west end of the Sumido Hondori shopping street, and there is a large public parking lot right next to it, making it a convenient location for casual shopping. This time, I had beef cutlet curry, and my daughter had a hamburger set meal and potage from the service lunch. The curry beef cutlet has a good amount of meat and is delicious. Of course, the curry has a distinct sweetness from the chutney that you would expect from a Western restaurant, and it feels like you can eat as many as you want (^-^) The rice wasn't very voluminous, so to be honest, a special serving would be enough. The hamburger set meal is a sure-fire dish with a hamburger steak full of flavor and meat juice topped with a fried egg with a half-cooked yolk. The smell of hamburger steaks is so good that when you get close to the store, you'll be lured in by the smell of hamburgers. I arrived just as lunch time was winding down, so it wasn't crowded, but it's not a big restaurant, so if I had arrived an hour earlier, I might not have been able to be seated right away. There are very few Western restaurants like this in Neyagawa City, where I currently live, but I'm glad to see that there are quite a few in nearby cities. Beef cutlet 1700 yen is very delicious. However, rice is different. The beef cutlet curry was delicious, but the roux was so-so. Omurice is delicious, but the sauce was a little thick for me. Also, beef pilaf (650 yen? Should have been) is very delicious. The stamina grilled set meal also had pork cut a little thicker like yakiniku meat, but it was very soft and delicious.
