This is a great place and very reasonable restaurant to have a meal, both for university students and the public. For Kansai Gaidai students, it’s a win because dishes are often around 1000¥ and for the public, they have a variety of foods that are good for large groups of people, but will actually fill your stomach—pizza, pasta, and an assortment of salads and sandwiches.

My friends and I had our first parfaits in Japan here, and they were delicious! It seems to be very popular, so it was a little busy, but we got a table no problem. I can’t vouch for the regular food, but unlike the parfaits and cakes, which are ordered at the register, for regular food you need to go to a vending machine and get a ticket for your preferred meal. It is all in Japanese, so be prepared to translate. There was one worker who spoke good English (certainly better than my Japanese) who was really helpful, and the other workers were equally helpful once I looked up some words I didn’t know to ask some questions. Highly recommend, especially for those parfaits!

If you know you know, the way this place goes above and beyond and is great. They are always so nice and efficient. Definitely go for the student discount menu 🤠 the country music vibes is always fun.
