Amazing taste with kind staff
[Menu ordered] Tonkatsu (Kyushu pork loin 200g) 1900 yen Fried shrimp one fish 1100 yen Cream croquette 550 yen Rice 200 yen Red soup stock 150 yen [Memo] 10 minutes walk from Kintetsu Hyōtanyama Station. It is located along National Route 170, and there is a free parking lot where you can park several cars in front of the store and several next to it. It is more convenient to go by car. We arrived around 1:00 pm, and there were two groups waiting, and we waited for about 5 minutes to enter. As soon as you enter the store, you'll notice that there are L-shaped counter seats and table seats surrounding the cooking area, with a view of the garden. There are two large rooms with tatami seats in the back, and there are about 80 seats in total. The nostalgic, Showa-era interior of the restaurant has aged tables, chairs, lighting, and wallpaper, giving you a nostalgic feeling. I'm also happy to be greeted by a courteous staff member, and the restaurant is well-maintained, clean, and a pleasant place to eat. When I tried to eat it as a set meal, there was no set meal for 200g of pork cutlet, so I added rice and red soup stock to the set meal. Wait on the counter and watch it being carefully plated. It is an amazing sight to see the food being arranged and served all at once. It came out in about 18 minutes. It all came out on a large plate. Garnishes include cabbage and potato salad, tartar sauce for fried shrimp, and thousand dressing for salad. Pork cutlet It's fried to a raccoon-brown color and has a thin, thin batter that almost peels off when you lift it. It is cut into thick pieces, with a hint of sweetness from the fat, and a well-balanced umami flavor from the meaty meat. The taste is strong and the spiciness of white pepper is strong. The most distinctive feature is the secret sauce that has been passed down from generation to generation, with a perfect balance of fruity sweetness and tomato acidity. When I added it to the tonkatsu, it had a sense of unity, and I felt that the fat of the meat and the flavor of the batter were brought out even more. Fried Shrimp A large shrimp with a head. The flesh is tightly packed and has a sweet taste that blends well with the thin batter. It was delicious with the sourness of the tartar sauce. cream croquette A luxurious croquette with lots of ingredients such as shrimp and mushrooms, resembling a sweet stew. It was an old-fashioned fried dish, and it had a taste that made me think that it had been loved in Higashi-Osaka for many years. Thank you for the meal.
