Osaka, Japan｜Naoya

I found this place on YouTube and decided to visit on our way back from the Osaka aquarium. I'm glad we did as they make awesome Okonomiyaki. They make it with more cabbage than some others which makes its less heavy/oily in my opinion. I had the egg, cheese and pork okonomiyaki with noodles, and my partner had the onion ponzu pork okonomiyaki. Both were delicious and had a crunch you don't usually get with okonomiyaki. I think they also cook them slightly longer on the main grill for that extra crunch. It's a little off the beaten track but not hard to get to from Awaza station, and was not busy when we went on a weekday so there was no wait. I would definitely recommend this to anyone staying in Osaka if you want to avoid the super busy restaurants in places like dotonburi. They do not have an English menu at the time of writing but just use Google translate the scan the menu and you will be fine.

Felt a bit intimidated when we came here as the place was filled with Japanese salarymen. But we know food is going to be good! Okonomiyaki and yakisoba were amazing. Full of flavors. Service takes a while, though. As they be cooking from scratch, it only means that the food are freshly cooked and piping hot! Yalls should try some lunch menu sets!

Delicious okonomiyaki, good atmosphere, feeling of show cooking, friendly staff which apparently liked their job's Top Job 👌
