Excellent Yakiniku place just a few steps down the street from the station. Staff is very friendly. Went on a Tuesday night at around 9:00pm and got a seat at the counter immediately. One of us needed a fork and they had a big container of forks and spoons, so if you are clumsy with chopsticks it’s fine. Did not see an English menu, so if you have strong preferences for your cut of meat, know the Japanese name ahead of time. If you don’t know what to order, ask for “ro-su” (chuck roast) “bara” (short rib) and “jō-harami” (highest quality skirt). Meat was served almost immediately along with their delicious yakiniku sauce. (This is what my girlfriend and I ordered last night, it was enough for us but ordering more is easy.) Highly recommend! Great atmosphere, plenty of room, also a very clean restroom. Enjoy!

I visited Kuizen Hormone in Tsuruhashi, Osaka. Since it is baked on a gas stove, the fat is just right and it is delicious. It's cheap and the focus is on lean meat, and I'm glad they have cow artery yomenakase.
