I don't get the reviews saying that the owner was rude.. I almost didn't go in because of that but I changed my mind at the last minute and I couldn't be more glad that I did!! The interior was really vintage and beautiful and the food was real lovely, and so was the tea and ginger ale:) Loved all the vinyls and the rusty books that added to the cozy atmosphere!

Housed in an old Japanese shophouse, this cafe has a retro charm to it. With old jazz playing softly at the background, served with antique glasses and the dim lightings together with the natural sunlight beaming through the glass panels made you travel back in time as you take a sip of coffee and a taste of their dessert cake. This is a very quiet cafe with a sense of Japanese calm so please respect their tranquillity and peace. Just sit back and relax to enjoy the coffee, have your quiet time. Warm and friendly host with a fantastic jazz record collection. Building displays the beautiful heritage of Japanese architecture. Coffee was delicious, as was the toast!
