Sakai, Osaka, Japan｜Muraichiban

I stayed near this restaurant while I was in Osaka. One evening was wet, so I didn't venture into town, and decided to try my luck at the nearest restaurant. This was the perfect place. The bartender was really funny and accommodating, and he made me a nice pasta dinner (I couldn't read from the menu and don't speak japanese), and then I had a great night with him and another customer who wandered in, jamming to the 70s funk music, drinking highballs & whiskey. I hope to come back next time :)

A popular dining bar in the area. It's a small shop with only about 5 counters and 5 tables. The signboard is so small that people who don't know it might miss it. It's such a small shop, but the food and drinks are great! First of all, you will be surprised by the variety of beer. They have a wide selection of beers and craft beers from around the world, as well as alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. And there are a lot of stylish dishes such as ajillo, fish and chips, gnocchi, smoked mackerel, risotto, roast beef, and more! To be honest, it is a lineup that you can not imagine at all from the appearance. All of them are very delicious, especially the Gorgonzola gnocchi is rich and delicious! The fish and chips were also very fluffy and delicious (* ^^ *) And last but not least is the price. I visited with my family, but it was less than 3000 yen per person, eating and drinking with 5 people! ! can't believe it…. It is a shop that only locals know, but it was a wonderful shop that I would like to recommend to many people. I will definitely go again!

Why is there such a good shop in such a place!! The entrance to the industrial area called Ishizugawa on the Nankai Main Line. A shop called Mura Ichiban located in a residential area on the opposite side of the industrial area. A beer-loving master has a variety of rare beers. Kilkenny is especially recommended. This is definitely the only place in Sakai where you can drink it straight from the barrel. Not many in Osaka city. There are many other craft beers, so beer lovers can't get enough of it. Not only beer but also ate is excellent. Homemade lotus root dumplings are so juicy that you won't believe there's no meat in them. It is the best accompaniment with the crunchiness of the lotus root. It's a hideaway shop, but the quality is convinced that it's insanely popular. It was a wonderful shop that I would definitely go to if I was in the neighborhood.
