Takatsuki, Osaka, Japan｜1 Pound Steak & Hamburg Takeru Takatsuki

This is a really nice place. The meat is tender, the drinks are huge, and the service is really good. I’ll be coming back.

This is just a personal review. I'm sure some people are suited for this, so please bear with me. Today, I heard that Takeru in Takatsuki was newly opened as a katsudon restaurant, so I went to try it with half anticipation and half apprehension. In conclusion, it didn't suit me. The good thing about it was that the cutlet was thick, but because of that, the cutlet was on top of the egg bowl, making it a strangely different thing to eat on a plate. I never expected to order katsudon and eat it with sauce. It was good at first, but after eating it for a while, I noticed something. “It has a lot of fat.” Because it's thick, the fat is also thick. About 1/4 of the pork was fatty. It was already too late and I was losing my fat. I painstakingly removed the fat from the remaining three slices and ate them, but by the time I finished eating them, I felt a little sick and had to leave the restaurant feeling unsteady. I'm writing this while taking a break at Seven and drinking Yuzu Lemon Cider. The flavor variations included tonkatsu sauce, sauce, shichimi, garlic, and salt. If it had grated daikon radish, ponzu sauce, and wasabi soy sauce in it, I might have been able to eat it. It's just my personal feeling, but I want Takeru's hamburger to come back. (The following is a review from the Takeru era.) This is a steak and hamburger restaurant located in front of Hankyu Railway Takatsuki Station. I always use it for takeout. We recommend the double hamburger bento for takeout! I got two 150g hamburgers and took them out. If so, a large serving of rice is free. When you eat inside the restaurant, you can enjoy different flavors with a variety of spices and sauces. The Takatsuki store's exclusive menu includes horse meat fillet, which is sold until 5:00 p.m. This is also delicious! Due to the coronavirus pandemic, last orders for in-store dining are at 19:00 and closing is at 20:00, but takeout is possible until 21:00. If you are a meat lover, I recommend you to try it once. It won't hurt you.
