It was a difficult place to get to from my house, but I really wanted to try the seafood rice bowl for lunch, so I took a train and a bus to go there. Expectations rise when you catch a glimpse of the chef carefully cooking over the counter. As expected, it was a fresh and very delicious seafood bowl. The dashi soup for hitsumabushi was also delicious.

Success in eating delicious kaisendon for 1,000 yen! The egg yolk goes up, and it's delicious because it's thick :) Only 20 bowls are sold as lunch specials. Customers are all locals, and they put up a sign when sold out. I visited around 11:40 am on a Monday, ate without waiting, put up a sold out sign at 12:10, and customers who came after that went back. It's that delicious!!!

This is my second lunch visit, Mr. Umiichi, and this time I'll be eating tuna bowl! I went there with great enthusiasm, but the menu and prices had changed since the last time I came. Only the seafood bowl is limited to 20 servings for 1,000 yen, and the large serving of ingredients that used to be available has been discontinued. Still, it's delicious and the cost performance is still great! This seafood bowl at 780 yen was unbelievably cheap 🤣 lol The owner here is also very kind and listens, so I'm thinking of going there at night next time. The limited number of 20 meals will sell out quickly, so we recommend waiting before the store opens! Mr. Umiichi is famous for the great cost performance of the seafood bowl and tuna bowl🍚 for lunch. I ordered a seafood bowl + a little seafood. When you put the rice bowl on, you'll find a beautiful bowl of sashimi on top...it's only 1,080 yen...so cheap! ! Have you ever had a seafood bowl with slightly warm rice that sometimes has a fishy smell? Nothing like that! There are many toppings, from medium fatty tuna to tuna, sea bream, and yellowtail. The tuna was so sticky and delicious that I definitely want to try the tuna bowl next time. I visited on a Sunday, and there was a line before the restaurant opened, and it seemed to fill up as soon as it opened and sell out quickly, so I recommend going before the rotation!
