Udon is inexpensive, extremely fast (like literally 10 seconds), AND delicious! The two person staff is very friendly. Extremely local feel, but great for travelers of all types. They have a small English menu you can request too. Perfect morning meal if you are staying near Kayashima station before a trip to Osaka.

A classic little soba/udon/onigiri stand with the kindest staff one could imagine. Food comes out super quickly, it's delicious, everything's inexpensive, and the location is perfect. What more can one ask for? 🙏

My partner and I spent 3 months traveling across Japan in 2018, and whilst we stayed near Kayashima Station we ate here several times. The food was always delicious, the curry udon is so good we still talk about it 3 years later! I'd love to go back one day! Love from the UK 🇬🇧
