Osaka, Japan｜Takoyaki Yumeya

Stumbled upon this place by chance when I was checking out what to see around Shin-Osaka and absolutely loved it! crisp skin with runny filling. I ordered the 12 pieces (800 yen) with mixed topping. One of them was too salty, but other than that everything was top notch. The size is just right for 3-4 person.

What a gem of a restaurant! We were a super hungry family of 4 when we found it! Our teenage girls had chicken and chips, all freshly cooked, and were very happy. We waited and watched the takoyaki being made and were blown away. It was by far the best thing we ate on our 2 week Japanese (3 city) adventure.

The best Takoyaki in Japan! The review was real. This little joint is very close to Shin-Osaka station. The owner is an expert of Takoyaki which is a Osaka’s infamous local food. Salt mayonnaise with lots of green onion is a must. You can eat a whole a lot because it’s like a snack. Crispy outside and the inside melts in mouth. Yummo!!! We were so full (two of us) and happy for only 1400 yen. It’s a steal!
