Got there early 1140 and there's already a line. Didn't wait long. Got the English menu and ordered. Love the cozy rubbing shoulders style. Can choose amount of rice with the set. The pork broth soup is superb...rich and full of flavour.

For my money, the best tonkatsu place in Osaka. The owner has been doing it for over 45 years, and the menu has stayed the same for at least 15 years, probably more. The food is breaded and fried to order, in front of you. I recommend the special roast, which has cheese and ham (スペシャルロース). It only has counter space, but it's worth it.

An old shop that has stood the test of time! too delicious! The first bite really moved me to tears.
