Osaka, Japan｜とんかつ 井戸枩（いどまつ）

We ate this during our trip to Japan back in Spring and we haven’t been able to forget it… When we went at night it was a one-man show with the chef acting as a cashier and server, but he was very polite and helpful and walked us to the door when we were done. The tonkatsu was the best we’ve ever had, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside 🤤💖 Portions were generous with tasty sides and sauces and we were very well fed. Will definitely be back when we’re in Osaka again!!

If you like Japanese Tonkatsu (Pork chop bread crumb deep fried) there are many shop serving. BUT if you want the best, this Restaurant gets the honours. Look at the color of the meat. My God, never had pork sooooo soft and juicy. The miso is Ton jiru, having lots of veges and pork. AWESOME foods. All the for a mere ¥1,300.- What else you want in life, my friends😄😄😄😄

One the best tonkatsu we had in Japan on our vacation. Fresh and delicious. Service was fantastic, they really tried to help us with ordering as we didn't speak Japanese. Will come back again next time we are lucky to visit.
