Osaka, Japan｜Takekurabe

Takekurabe - Okonomiyaki near Namba station, on 2nd floor. We had the yakisoba (salty version) and mixed seafood okonomiyaki. Both were amazing. In fact, being small eaters, we normally struggle to finish 1 yakisoba + 1 Okonomiyaki but this was so delicious, we left feeling like we wanted to have more. The okonomiyaki had a lovely texture of fluffy eggs, the seafood tastes fresh, and the balance of flavours spot on.

Had the seafood okonomiyaki and it was very tasty! The staff are very nice and attentive. The okonomiyaki wasn’t too heavy, it was light yet filling and tasty.

We tried the modan-yaki (okonomiyaki with fried noodles on top) and it was amazing! The special gristle topping was the cherry on top. Great joint for lunch.
