More Comments at Google MapLocation: A quaint little house-looking restaurant on the outskirts of the Suita shopping area, this restaurant is easy to miss. The natural decorations on the outside already communicate homely, comfortable vibes, and the small interior is no different. Food/Menu: The Okonomiyaki here takes a step away from local Osaka style, to the prefecture of Hiroshima; also famous for this delicious dish. The noodles are a bit thicker, and the batter, noodles, and meat are layered rather than mixed together. There are 3 options available for sauce here depending if you'd rather go for a sweet-savory, sweet-spicy, or full spice. Despite being located next to the Asahi Brewery, the menu sports a wide variety of local craft beers at an affordable price. Staff: This homely restaurant is run by an older couple, who are quite friendly, affable, and efficient in their craft. They were quick to refill my cup of water as soon as I finished it without asking, multiple times and offered some good friendly conversation. Warm and welcoming indeed. Overall Thoughts: Quaint, small restaurant with a big heart and big helping of Hiroshima style Okonomiyaki. Definitely worth a try if you're in the Suita area. Staff:
Very tasty Hiroshima style okonomiyaki and the owners are some of the nicest and most welcoming people I've met in Japan.
The sauce is Otafuku, the noodles are Masuman, and the mother who cooks them is from Hiroshima. This is a restaurant where you can enjoy complete Hiroshima okonomiyaki. It seems that the chef sometimes grills it, but it looks a little less beautiful. The sauce is very fruity and delicious. The spicy sauce on the counter is also delicious. Next, I would like to have it with spicy noodles. Thank you for the meal. Sake and Kamotsuru from Hiroshima are served. Minoh beer is also available.
