It is a nice little izakaya in the mall. The prices are good and the food is tasty. They also have an English menu, so it's great for tourists. The waitress we had was super nice.

This is a Showa bar that I stop by when I return to Osaka. A great restaurant for smokers who can smoke cigarettes at their seats. We recommend this restaurant as you can easily enjoy a Showa-era Osaka izakaya near the station. I visited on a Saturday afternoon, and it was still busy. There are many dishes unique to Kansai left here, and most of the dishes are around 300-600 yen, but the portions are not too large or small these days, so that's a good thing. For those who are not from the Kansai region, it may feel strange at first to hear the energetic staff handling customers and their blunt, direct talk, but I hope you enjoy it. Since I work with Osaka people who are often impatient, the customers are watching me. The food comes out quickly, but if it seems a little slow, someone will follow up and say, ``Nii-chan, please wait a little longer.'' This is the Showa era customer service in Osaka. Sitting down for a drink after a long time. Seared bonito for the first time in a while, with garlic 🧄. The meat is so thick that each bite is huge.
