I went on a Sunday when it opened at noon. I am very grateful that this fried horse mackerel can be eaten in Osaka as well. Personally, it was delicious enough even without tartar sauce. The additional meat and potato croquettes I ordered were small in size, but they were well seasoned and delicious even without sauce. There was a wait for seats right after the store opened, but after about an hour, the wait didn't seem to be that long.

“Hashinoyu Shokudo” is located near Karahori Shopping Street. I heard that Matsuura City, Nagasaki Prefecture, boasts the largest amount of horse mackerel landed in Japan. Because it's a big deal, the fried horse mackerel set meal is not one, but two! I also asked for a meat and potato croquette separately. The horse mackerel that came out is thicker than I thought. There was a special tartar sauce on it, but it's really delicious even if you don't put anything on it! The fluffy horse mackerel meat is layered on top of the rough clothes, and it's the best! I wonder if it will be in the best 3 of the fried horse mackerel I've ever eaten? To be honest, I wanted to eat 3 or 4 instead of 2. The croquette was also delicious and full of flavor. We will definitely go again in the near future!
