Ibaraki, Osaka, Japan｜Syokudo and Teishoku restaurant

The food is good and the serving sizes are big. Certainly value for money.

A few minutes walk from Aeon Ibaraki. Closed on Sundays. I found it a while ago when I was driving by, and finally got to visit it. Although it looks old, the inside of the store is bright and clean, and doesn't feel too cramped. 4 counter seats, 3 tables for 4 people. The place quickly filled up at noon on Saturday with children and workers. There were over 10 types of inexpensive set meals priced under 800 yen. Looking at past Google Maps, my husband, Ponta, went there expecting his favorite dish, fried horse mackerel, but there was no fried food on the menu. The "Pork and Garlic Buds" I chose, 750 yen, tasted like Worcestershire sauce and contained a lot of garlic sprouts. The new onion salad was refreshing and delicious. I was surprised that the rice came in a large serving. It was a carefully prepared set meal with lots of vegetables and a generous portion. Personally, it was a restaurant that was close to my ideal price, menu, and taste. Next time I would like to try the pork shabu set meal. I would like to order a smaller amount of rice.

Stir-fried vegetables set meal ¥750 I was nervous when I entered the store as a solo female, attracted by the low prices and many healthy set meals. I had the impression that the customer base was mostly male, such as office workers and people working in the field, but the people at the store were very kind and made me feel comfortable. I was able to eat more vegetables for lunch than at any other chain restaurant, so it was a great place for someone who is health conscious. However, I guess I ordered a small amount of rice, as the place had quite a lot of regular rice, so I got a small serving of rice and the amount was about average...I was surprised by that, but I was also very satisfied with the service spirit. Next time I go, I would like to order a much smaller portion (lol)
