Takatsuki, Osaka, Japan｜Torikizoku

Came here last evening with 4 friends (all of us not Japanese), and the waiter kindly provided us with an English menu. While he didn’t speak much English, he showed great effort in helping me understand what the menu items were (e.g. these are pork, this is beef, and the rest are chicken). I was lucky that two of my friends spoke Japanese and I could ask through them what the menu meant, since even in the English menu the words were just romanized Japanese words and not actually in English. The drink menu was in English, however. On the note of food, everything was tasty. The rice bowls are especially worth it for the price (298 yen + tax was 321 yen). I got the chicken skin skewer totally by accident as I thought it was chicken meat. It was a bit too chewy but still flavourful.

Torikizoku's yakitori is delicious, so I went there with my family of three. It was late at night, so many of the yakitori were sold out, but I was happy to be able to eat my favorite "Momo Kizoku Yaki (Tare)".

I went with my family for the first time. I finally got it in after waiting about 20 minutes. It's definitely a popular store. I didn't pay attention to it when I went out drinking, but For elementary school students and younger, if you order a soft drink, you can drink as much as you want. You're keeping families in mind. It was 10 dishes for my 5 year old child, my wife and myself. I reaffirmed its value as a restaurant, thinking it was cheaper than a poor all-you-can-eat restaurant. The price has increased to 296 + tax, so please be careful if you haven't seen it in a while.
