More Comments at Google MapAs some of you may know, I learned about the origin of Go Go Curry on my first visit today. Since the shop sells Kanazawa curry, I thought that the establishment of the company and the first store were all based on Kanazawa, but a staff member told me that the first president actually worked at the curry shop at the Kanazawa main store. After training there, he opened his first store in Shinjuku, Tokyo. As for the taste, I had the restaurant's recommended cutlet curry, and my first impression was that it was delicious, but the taste of the sauce on top of the cutlet was overwhelming. Honestly, I think the roux has just the right amount of spice, and the curry is neither sweet nor spicy, just the right amount of spiciness. It was my first time to eat curry and cabbage together, so it was fresh. It was also my first time to eat curry rice with a fork, and the cutlet was delicious and soft, and I could easily cut it with a fork. I want to enjoy the roux a little more thoroughly next time, so I definitely want to go back again. It was a roux with a taste I had never had before.
Go-go curry is the two wings of Kanazawa curry! ! I like CoCo Ichi from Shaba Shaba, but I think the curry is this strong and delicious! ! The inside of the store is connected to the Abura Soba store next door, and the kitchen and employees are centralized. This is a great way to keep costs down! I'm really impressed. I felt that there were a lot of single customers occupying tables inside the store, and that it was difficult to explain the food ticket system, but the employees were quick to respond and didn't make me feel uncomfortable. The menu I ordered was Goriemon. There was a face made of toppings. All the fried foods were crispy and delicious ^_^ The hard-boiled eggs were also goo!
Go Go Curry is a Kanazawa curry chain restaurant that I fell in love with when I went to Tokyo for training about 10 years ago. Since then, I haven't had a chance to eat there because I have to go to Kyoto to find a store, but I'm glad they opened in nearby Sakai Higashi. Sometimes I feel like eating. It has a very B-class feel in a good way. The roux, which is somewhere between curry and sauce, doesn't have any depth, but there's no other curry that goes better with the cutlet. You can also ask the staff for a second helping of cabbage. Now I don't have heartburn. On days marked 5, you can get free topping coupons. Sakai Higashi seems to be a hotly contested area for curry, but I hope they do their best not to withdraw from Osaka.
