Osaka, Japan｜Teppan Grill Keyaki

I would give it ten stars if I could! We were so well taken care of here. We were squeezed in at the last minute, which is normally tricky to do. Everyone who served us was polite, friendly, and professional. And my god, the food was exceptional! My husband and I ordered to A5 Wagyu beef and it was a religious experience! Osaka Castle was illuminated red the evening we went, which I'm told is special. And with the claps of lighting, it was a suitably beautiful backdrop for the amazing food we were about to eat. This was the perfect first night in Osaka, and we haven't even left the hotel yet!

I had an amazing experience at Keyaki tonight. I came for dinner for my wife's birthday. I made the reservation online a few weeks ago and mentioned it would be nice if they could prepare some flowers and a slice of cake, not thinking it was too likely. To my surprise they prepared a lovely dessert plate with candles, a beautiful bouquet of flowers, and even sang happy birthday. Would highly recommend if you're planning something special for a loved one. Also a great view of osaka castle! It is not the cheapest meal but in my opinion worth it for the experience, having teppanyaki cooked in front of you is unique and you should do it at least once in japan!

We had Hokkaido and Kobe beef for lunch, which were delicious! The garlic rice oh my! Best rice I’ve ever tasted. Pair great food with a relaxing view of the Osaka castle. We were lucky to get a spot, definitely make a reservation it is worth it!
