More Comments at Google MapVisit in 2022 I finally went to Yama-san's curry that I really wanted to eat. Walk from Imamiya Station to the store while exercising. I'm curious about all the toppings, but I chose the cutlet curry with fried shrimp and coarsely ground oysters. You can choose between sweet, medium-spicy, and dry curry, but since it's my first time, I chose medium-spicy. What a captivating visual. If you take a bite, this is delicious, no, it's really delicious! And kind! It's not like there's no punch, it's solid, but it feels like it's going into the stomach. The spiciness is mild, so it's very easy to eat. Crispy fried cutlet, fried shrimp, and rough sausage also go great with curry. I'm so used to fried foods that I end up eating just the curry-coated fries. I ate the rice left behind, and there was almost rice left. If you have a lot of toppings, it might be better for you to make only curry a large serving. Exquisitely far from home, but I want to go again. I would go there often if it was nearby.
I had it delivered before 1am on a weekday. There were 4 tables, 2 of which already had customers. When I took a seat at one table and waited, there was another empty table with customers. Another customer was waiting at the counter seat. It quickly filled up. I ordered the arabiki curry with medium spiciness. The curry roux was thick and delicious. There are various toppings, so I want to try each one.
European-style curry shop. The inside of the counter + table interior has a cheerful atmosphere with impressive wood grain in green and yellow. The soccer player uniforms and shoes displayed throughout the store are impressive. The menu is simple. There are several types of curries that change depending on the ingredients, toppings and drinks only. The soup does not come with the curry, so if you want it, you can order the soup separately for 100 yen. Since this was my first visit, I ordered the most popular "Tonkatsu curry" with "arabiki" (wiener) as a topping. I wanted to drink soup together, so I ordered it together. You can choose from three levels of spiciness: sweet, medium, and spicy. According to the owner, even if it's dry, it's not too spicy. Curry arrived in about 10 minutes after ordering. Brown cutlet and wiener, brown roux. Other than the white rice peeking through the cracks and the Fukujinzuke, it's all brown lol A bite for now. A European-style curry with a sauce-like sweetness and the spiciness of chili. There is a firm spiciness behind the umami, and it leaves a lasting aftertaste. The sweetness comes first, and the spiciness lingers, giving the impression of a rich roe sauce. I felt that this taste is definitely a taste for the Kansai people who have a sauce culture. In addition, it goes very well with the crispy tonkatsu and the plump wiener sausage, and is extremely delicious when eaten with roux. I was pleasantly surprised by the careful arrangement of the ingredients so that when you scoop them up with a spoon, you can hit them from anywhere. It's delicious to eat curry alone with rice, but personally, I thought that it was a curry that showed its true value by eating it with ingredients. I didn't ask for it this time, but I think it would be delicious to eat "fried shrimp", "fried fish", and "chicken nuggets" together. It seems to be categorized as "European curry", but I personally felt that it was a genre called "YAMA curry". Moreover, I personally like this curry lol! I also like the honest-looking personality of the husband, who is always trotting. I personally thought that I want such a shop loved by the locals to do their best forever. Also, if you have any business nearby, please let us know.
