Osaka, Japan｜Teppan dining Seeks

!The best meal we had in Japan so far The chef is the nicest person we met and you can really see how much he loves what he's doing We took two 9 course set and a half bottle of wine Total cost was about 15,000 yen per person The wagyu steak is unbelievable!! The salad in the course set was sold out so he gave us a duck dish instead Amazing experience over all

We were out looking for kobe beef and waited too long Most places closed earlier than I expected or were fully booked/didn't accept walkins Then we found this hidden gem 🤩 even though they didn't have kobe, the A5 wagyu they served was AMAZING 🤤 Wonderful atmosphere, sat at the bar in front of the cheff, all the while he was cooking for us we were chatting and joking between him, the waitress and us They only had 3 red wines, an Australian Shiraz, A Napa Valley blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and merlot, and a third Cabernet Sauvignon I don't remember where from. Small selection, but all looked good. We went for the Napa Valley, (368 I think it was called) which paired amazing with our beef. Food wise we shared a 5 course set meal and got 100gr A5 wagyu each, and everything was amazing Even though wine selection was scarce, it was great, and even though we didn't get kobe beef, we were over the moon with happiness 🥰 Meny was only in Japanese but through Google lense, my broken japanese and the waitresses amazing english we managed to get it done 🤣🙈 100% recomended, and no doubt I'll be coming back next time I'm in Osaka Would give more than 5 stars if I could 🤣

Secret restaurant right next to the craziness of Dotonbori. I went two days ago and I highly recommend it. It is located on the second floor of a small building (pictures included so you can find the spot) First, the atmosphere is awesome, even though you are right next to packed streets you can't hear anything and the music has a chill vibe. The food is very high quality and the Chef knows what he is doing, he prepared everything amazing. I had salmon and wagyu beef (pictures) and it looked so delicious that I started eating before taking the picture (in the picture I was almost done with my Wagyu steak). The taste was great, you can't compare this to the street food. The chef answered many of the questions even though he doesn't speak English and has a very friendly attitude! Would definitely recommend. 10/10 I spent around 12,000 yen which is around 80 usd, so totally worth it if you want to try a high quality piece of steak!
