Osaka, Japan｜立ち寿司 杉尾 西中島店

Stayed in Shin-Osaka for a business trip to Osaka. I wanted to try sushi, so I googled sushi restaurants in the area and went there because of the good reviews. It was my first time at a standing sushi restaurant, and it was delicious. I bought some good fish. They also offered rare parts of tuna. Unfortunately, the a la carte menu was only written on the blackboard and was difficult to understand.

I came in around noon and ordered a sushi lunch. It takes about 10 minutes from the time you order to the time your food comes out, but considering that the chef prepares each dish with care, it's an understandable wait time. All of the sushi served was of a high standard, and you wouldn't believe it was a 1,000 yen set. The sushi rice is so soft that it falls apart in your mouth, the shrimp has a plump texture, and the miso soup that comes with it has a nice dashi stock. Personally, I don't like standing drinking (standing drinking for a long time is physically demanding...), so I don't think I'll come here at night, but there are various interesting-looking drinks and cheap snacks on the menu. So I think it's a fun place for people who like it at night.

I'm glad that the size of the sushi is good for me. For the average person, the sushi may be small and unsatisfactory. The sushi ingredients are also fresh. Especially the green amberjack? The striped horse mackerel material was crunchy and delicious. The red miso is just right and delicious♪ The cold green tea was also good. The friendly female staff prepares the meal with just the right amount of spice. Next time I would like to go for something other than lunch! Thank you very much.
