We enjoyed our dinner here a lot. The restaurant is a bit hidden on the 2nd floor of an old building. Don't be intimidated by the look of the restaurant, even though we were. The food is genuine and delicious, and the service kind. Most clients are locals, Google translation is useful to facilitate the communication. How the chef prepares sushi reminds me of some omasake places we went to, but the price here is much cheaper. Would definitely recommend to friends.

Came here tonight (Tues) around 7pm. Was sort of hard to find. Had to go upstairs and walk towards the back but it was a cute little place. We ordered a lot. First got the 8 recommended sushi pieces (1000 yen only) but then added a lot of other pieces since everything was so cheap. My partner and I each got a drink, the 8 pieces of sushi and then 5-6 pieces of nigiri + 2 appetizers. The total was around 8000 yen aka $50 USD. Amazing deal but also the fish was very fresh and tasted delicious. A true gem

Some of the best sushi I've ever had in my life and very affordable. A big note is it can be hard to find, but Google maps will lead you to a street of restaurants. Go up stairs (near a family mart) with walls covered in graffiti that says 3f even though it's just 1 level above the floor level and walk to the end of the hall. The place is small and worked by 1 person who is extremely kind and hardworking. There was an english menu. He gave the drinks, took the orders, made the food, and cleaned in the process. My entire family was extremely impressed by his speed and skill. The restaurant was lively and fun, but a big note is that people do smoke there. If you want to feel like a local, this restaurant is absolutely perfect. Definitely a hidden gem that I would recommend to anyone who likes sushi. And to top it off, the cost for all 4 of us was 14,000 yen, and with this exchange rate only 98 USD.
