such a great dining experience! we stopped by here on our way back from the aquarium, hoping for a smaller dinner—this restaurant absolutely delivered. even though we expected kushikatsu to be a little more on the heavy side, all the food was surprisingly light and very refreshing. i went with a friend who is practicing her japanese, and the staff were kind enough to even teach her some of the local slang :)

I came across this restaurant when I was looking for Kushikatsu on a trip to Osaka. I tried each course and was impressed by how delicious they all were. I also recommend the squid mentaiko. The owner is also kind and nice. I will definitely stop by again when I come to Osaka. The photo shows fried cartilage skewers. This was also too delicious.

I used it on the way to get on the ferry. Each skewer is so elaborate that you won't get tired of it and it's delicious! Niigata sake is also available, and it seems that the skewers and sake are endless.
