More Comments at Google MapSince I came to Osaka for the first time, I was torn between okonomiyaki or kushikatsu for dinner, but I chose kushikatsu. After researching various shops on Google Maps, I decided on this shop because it looked good. I went a little early so I got in right away, but after a while it was full. It was my first time to eat authentic kushikatsu, so I was a little confused about how to eat it, but the staff kindly taught me and I was able to enjoy it comfortably. I was very satisfied with the atmosphere of the shop, the staff's response, and of course the kushikatsu.
The design of the store has an atmosphere that makes you feel the Showa era. The shop itself is small with less than 10 tables. In addition, the store clerk is in good spirits. Kushikatsu can be eaten in one or two bites. It's a nice size. You can also eat freshly made hot kushikatsu. Personally, I eat angel shrimp head first. Mochi is delicious. Also, onions are good. The clerk will tell you how to eat kushikatsu "recommended". "Dipped in sauce", "Dipped in half sauce", "Dipped in sauce and then salted", etc. Doteyaki is rich and delicious!
If you use Hankyu, it's convenient to access and the skewered menu has a wide variety and is delicious and fun. Personally, I am very grateful that smoking is allowed, which is rare these days.
