Osaka, Japan｜Tempura tentomi

Went in for dinner. They had a course menu but also had their lunch bowls. I think because it was a less busy week night. Food was incredible, we had the lunch don bowls. Staff was very attentive, (if you are from the US this might seem overwhelming, but it's done kindly to be super helpful). Chef came over at the end of our meal to ask where we were from. Would recommend this place for a nice dinner. Was a little hard to find. Go up stairs of the white building and it's the wooden door.

Dinner was on the set menu with appetiser, salad, and desert included. The excellent chef and friendly staff served us a variety of tempuras, ranging from seafood and vegetables to cheese and sweets. Everything was fresh and delicious and the chef choices were quite unique. They did an excellent job teaching us the best spice or sauce to use with each tempura. I couldn't believe I can take such a massive amount of food without feeling bloated. It was a random choice that turned out to be my best tempura experience.

Hands down to the best tendon rice! I personally feel this shop has been underrated. A hidden gem in umeda which can only accommodate around 15ppl max. Food: Crispy tempura even after being dipped into soy sauce. Rice was perfectly cooked. The after meal did not make us felt bloated (due to oiliness) which we often experienced when eating tempura don. We were there at 11.30am and the crowd slowly filled up the shop within 20min.
