Tempura was delicious. They serve it with the sauce to dip and pink salt to dip after when is wet. For 1200 yen I had a set meal at 3 pm which served for lunch and dinner. Rice and spicy fish eggs topping (I had 2 bowls of each) is eat as much as you can. The Ebisu bottle beer is the most amazing beer you can get in Japan. the small bottle was 380 yen ... and I remember paying 550 for a glass of a lower level beer at Niku Banzai Tennoji yesterday so I am not sure why some people can charge so much for beer ... there is no regulation and of course bottle beer is much better since it keeps cool in the bottle and it is not served with bubbles. Bubbles are sold in Japan under the term creamy beer to rip you off and sell you one third less of what they claim and of course at 3 times the price in some isakayas. I was so please with the beer choice and bottle size served as well as with the food.

Great food and friendly staff. Reasonable price and all you can eat mantaiko when you order a set meal. My husband and I enjoyed the meal dearly and will go revisit before we leave Osaka.

Really delicious tempura and friendly, super quick service. The prices are very reasonable, the sauce is delicious, the tempura is made before your eyes and from delicious fresh ingredients. A glass of super dry is just 180¥! And free mentaiko! 🤯😍 (I see the other reviews saying they’re unfriendly, but with all respect, if you’re sitting in a busy tempura shop with limited seating and not ordering at least one item each, you’re not allowed to comment on service. I also see one reviewer referring to locals as “japs” which is not ok. Maybe they could tell you were garbage when you walked in)
